Trio of guests, 2 of them key defenders, hop on ‘The Forge’ West Michigan Ironmen Podcast

Derek VandenBosch and Karey Morrow-Bey are accustomed to chasing down ball carriers and making plays on defense for the West Michigan Ironmen arena football team.

This time, Ironmen head coach/general manager Nate Smith and owner Mario Flores hunted down VandenBosch and Morrow-Bey as guests for “The Forge” Podcast.

VandenBosch and Morrow-Bey, as well as team sponsor Eddie Alexander, joined Smith and Flores on the podcast, which was recorded Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Legends Bar & Grill. Watch Episode 4 of “The Forge” at the top of this story.

The Ironmen (3-1) are idle this week, but they’ll return to action on Saturday, June 4, against the Carolina Predators at Trinity Health Arena. Last time, on May 15, the Ironmen routed the Kentuckiana Kurse, 62-0.
