Whitehall’s boys basketball created some unforgettable memories during the 2023-24 season.

For the first time in years, the Vikings completed a perfect regular season at 22-0.

They cruised to a fourth-straight league title, winning the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division championship. They beefed up their nonleague schedule.

The season ended sooner than expected, as Whitehall lost an overtime heartbreaker to Spring Lake in the Division 2 district semifinals, but as the sting of that defeat wears off, the Vikings will be able to reflect on many special memories.

Junior Camden Thompson became the Whitehall boys program’s all-time leading scorer en route to earning Michigan Associated Press Division 2 first-team all-state honors.
