EDITOR’S NOTE: The 2022 Greater Muskegon High School Baseball All-Star Classic has been rescheduled for 7:05 p.m. Wednesday because of rain.
Retiring Ravenna baseball coach Paul Herremans and 10 players from the West Michigan Conference will represent the league in the Greater Muskegon High School All-Star Classic at Marsh Field. The game was scheduled for Monday (June 13), but rain has forced it to be rescheduled to Wednesday (June 15).
First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, and $2 for students. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets are available at the gate. All proceeds benefit the Marsh Field Improvement Fund.
The Greater Muskegon All-Star Classic features many of the top high school senior baseball players along the lakeshore from Grand Haven to Ludington.
Herremans, who is retiring after 32 years and more than 500 wins at the helm for Ravenna, will be head coach for the Blue Team in the all-star game. Reeths-Puffer’s Butch Attig is head coach for the Red Team.
