Mason County Central boys, Hart girls pick up solid nonleague victories.

Two boys basketball games and three girls contests involving West Michigan Conference teams took place Monday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 51, KENT CITY 40: Visiting Mason County Central used a 23-12 fourth-quarter scoring advantage to pull out the nonleague victory and snap a two-game skid.

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS ACADEMY 49, FREMONT 46: Host Fremont struggled to make shots for the second-straight game, finishing 30 percent from the floor and 6-of-23 from the free-throw line in this nonleague loss.

HART 44, WYOMING POTTER’S HOUSE CHRISTIAN 26: This game was postponed twice before, but the teams were finally able to make their Cornerstone University Showcase matchup happen. Hart outscored Potter’s House 27-11 over the second and third quarters combined.
