Ludington, Hart boys stay unbeaten; Mason County Central boys rally past Shelby.

Seven boys games and two girls contests involving West Michigan Conference basketball teams were played Tuesday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

LUDINGTON 71, ORCHARD VIEW 29: Visiting Orchard View hung tough in the early going, trailing 16-15 early in the second quarter, before Ludington erupted to remain unbeaten. The Orioles outscored the Cardinals 47-9 in the middle two quarters. David Shillinger scored 19 of his game-high 26 points in the third.

WHITEHALL 56, FREMONT 41: Whitehall outscored visiting Fremont 32-11 in the second and third quarters combined to pull away in this WMC Lakes Division victory, which was the Vikings’ third-straight win.
