Three boys basketball teams from the West Michigan Conference tipped off their 2023-24 seasons on Monday, Nov. 27.

LUDINGTON 82, GRANT 57: David Shillinger started his senior season with a bang, scoring 40 points to help Ludington rally past visiting Grant in a nonleague matchup. He made five first-half 3-pointers en route to 21 points in the first two quarters. Grant jumped out to a 20-10 lead. The game was tied at 33 at halftime. Grant led 42-40 midway through the third quarter before Ludington responded with a 42-15 scoring run.
