WMC LAKES

WHITEHALL 68, ORCHARD VIEW 0: Whitehall capped a second straight 9-0 regular season and set a program record for shutouts in a season with the Vikings’ sixth. Meanwhile, Kyle Stratton threw five touchdown passes and ran for another.

OAKRIDGE 35, MONTAGUE 14: Trever Jones rushed for four touchdowns in leading Oakridge to a third straight convincing win to close the regular season.

MANISTEE 40, FREMONT 7: Host Manistee rebounded from its Week 8 loss to Montague with a runaway victory over Fremont.

Nick Hornkohl rushed 20 times for 133 yards and three TDs to power the Mariners, who close the regular season 7-2 and finish 4-2 in the WMC Lakes to tie for second with Oakridge. Caius Johns led Manistee defensively with six tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack.

For Fremont (2-7, 0-6), Talen Reichert-Slater completed 5 of 8 passes for 65 yards with an interception. Owen Hertel completed his long pass for a 33-yard TD for the Packers with Kyler DeKuiper on the receiving end. Hertel and Owen Hansen paced Fremont defensively with eight tackles apiece, while Connor Pettis made seven stops.

WMC RIVERS

NORTH MUSKEGON 52, SHELBY 14: Host North Muskegon capped its first 9-0 regular season since 1986 and completed its second straight unbeaten WMC Rivers run.

HART 44, RAVENNA 0: Host Hart completed the regular season with eight wins for the first time since 1968 and claimed its first victory over Ravenna since 1992.

HESPERIA 46, HOLTON 6: Visiting Hesperia defeated rival Holton and snapped a seven-game losing streak to cap the season.

No stats or details were submitted for Hesperia (2-7, 1-5 WMC Rivers).

For Holton (0-9, 0-6), Riley Pierce rushed for 76 yards, passed for 18 yards, and had 11 receiving yards. Pierce threw a TD pass for Brayden Wellman. David Addison rushed for 55 yards for the Red Devils.

WMC NONDIVISIONAL

LUDINGTON 45, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 14: Visiting Ludington scored on its first six possessions in the rout of rival Mason County Central.

Cameron Gunsell had a big night for the Orioles (5-4), completing 19 of 21 passes for 278 yards and four touchdowns and running 18 times for 101 yards and one TD. Gage Jones had nine receptions for 155 yards and two TDs. Joe Benz made eight catches for 85 yards and two TDs, while Luke Hackert had three catches for 60 yards and a TD. Jonah Peterson was 6-for-6 on PATs and kicked a 28-yard field goal.

For MCC (5-4), Peyton Merz ran 16 times for 80 yards. Gus McLouth rushed 11 times for 31 yards and two TDs. Pierce Bladzik was 6-of-17 passing for 68 yards with an interception. Bladzik and Tyler Norton each recorded six solo tackles for the Spartans.
