Here is a roundup of the action from Feb. 8, 2023, highlighted by district champions Whitehall, Hart and Ravenna.

“I thought the kids wrestled really well. We were fired up to compete for a district title in our home gym and I think that showed,” said Hart first-year coach Elijah Flores, whose Pirates (29-5) advance to next week’s regional against an opponent and at a site yet to be determined.
“It’s been a long season a lot of our guys have made tremendous progress throughout the season. We really leaned on our senior leadership and some of our young guys really stepped up. It’s been a great first year for me. It’s been a learning experience since the start, but I have a great coaching staff around me and a tough group of kids.”
DIVISION 3 AT MONTAGUE
Whitehall dominated in the district at Montague. The fourth-ranked Vikings defeated the neighboring rival Wildcats in the finals, 62-16. In the semifinals, Montague beat Orchard View, 49-30.
