West Michigan Ironmen go back to work with Episode 2 of ‘The Forge’ Podcast

MUSKEGON — The show must go on.

Sadly, the West Michigan Ironmen will not have a game this Saturday, but that doesn’t mean their work is done. They’re still grinding away.

Episode 2 of “The Forge” Podcast was recorded this week at Legends Bar & Grille in downtown Muskegon and you can watch it in the video above. CatchMark SportsNet recorded the weekly pod, hosted by Ironmen head coach/general manager Nate Smith and owner Mario Flores.

Featured as guests this week are “Jake from State Farm” (aka Jake Kantola) and Ironmen linebacker Josh Holley. Smith, Flores, Kantola and Holley address a number of topics.

The Ironmen are 2-1 on the season after a 72-55 road loss to the Charlotte Thunder Saturday night in North Carolina. The guys recap that game and look ahead to what’s coming up.
