Whitehall kicks off 2022 West Michigan Conference Weekly Coaches Show

Whitehall’s football team has been getting a lot of attention lately and for good reason.

The Vikings opened the 2022 season with an impressive 54-26 victory over Hudsonville Unity Christian. Then, head coach Tony Sigmon was selected the Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Week for Week 1.

Now, Whitehall is being featured on the first episode of the VanDyk Mortgage West Michigan Conference Weekly Coaches Show. Watch the video above to hear from Vikings defensive coordinator Keith Stratton and the Cook brothers, Jackson and Shane.

And here’s a twist: Former Montague star quarterback Cody Kater, the ex-Wildcats assistant coach who is now at the Reeths-Puffer helm, is taking a shot hosting the weekly show. That’s right: He had to set aside his Montague allegiance and do a professional job interviewing those guys from across the bridge.
