Whitehall seeded third, Hart eighth in 2023 Division 3 team wrestling state finals

Whitehall is seeded third and Hart eighth in Division 3 for the MHSAA team wrestling state finals tournament this Friday and Saturday at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo.

Third-seeded Whitehall (30-3) takes on sixth-seeded Gladstone while eighth-seeded Hart (31-5) tangles with top-seeded Dundee in state quarterfinal matches at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

In the other Division 3 quarterfinals, fourth-seeded Clinton faces fifth-seeded Constantine, while second-seeded Algonac takes on seventh-seeded Portland.

Team state semifinals matches take place at noon Saturday, followed by the championship match at 3:45 p.m.

Dundee is five-time defending state champion in Division 3 and has won the title eight of the last 10 years.
