WHITEHALL
The Whitehall wrestling team took 1st place at the challenging Joe Loren Memorial tournament in Chippewa Hills over the weekend. After posting a whopping 267.5 points, the Vikings walked away with their second invitational victory of the season.
The Vikings will take the mat again on December 29th when they travel to Grandville High School.

MONTAGUE
The Wildcats traveled to the Battle Creek duals on Saturday to face several talented teams. They finished 4-1 on the day and had some excellent matches.

MONTAGUE GIRLS
The Montague girls wrestling team traveled to Clinton on Saturday to wrestle some of the best girls in the state. The Wildcats took down several ranked individuals and made great strides as a team and will look to improve further at upcoming competitions.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL
The Spartans competed in the Mark Bosse Invitational at Hart High School over the weekend. MCC had three medalists on Saturday.
Senior, Andrew Quinn stayed undefeated and improved to 13-0 on the season. He defeated Jacob Reynolds of Three Rivers in the finals. MCC coach Kendel Trim is proud of Quinn and says he has been aggressive and made very few mistakes.
Sophomore, Zane McCabe took 3rd overall and went 3-1 on the day. Freshman, Hunter Sanford went 4-1 and took 5th place. Both wrestlers have made huge leaps and are expected to improve drastically as young competitors.
Senior Jacob Maidens and Sophomore Aiden Hirschfeld both went 2-2 on the day.
The Spartans next match will be at the Traverse City West Holiday Invitational.
