North Muskegon opens with a milestone night: Dugener 1,000 career points

North Muskegon senior guard Adam Dugener opened the 2025-26 season in a big way, finishing with 19 points in a 77-11 victory over Holton. The performance also pushed Dugener past 1,000 career points at the varsity level after he narrowly missed the mark at the end of the 2024-25 season.

Dugener contributed across the board in the opener, adding seven assists, six rebounds, and three steals to go along with his scoring. North Muskegon also received a strong offensive boost from Braylen Burrel, who led the team with 23 points. Additional contributions included Brody Frees (8 points, 4 rebounds), David Markiewicz (5 points, 3 rebounds), Ameere Layton (4 points, 3 assists), and Bronson Hurst (4 rebounds).

North Muskegon (1-0) is set to travel to Benzie Central for a non-conference tournament, with an opening-round matchup scheduled against Charlevoix.
