Peyhton Beardsley, Fruitport Girls Cross Country

Fruitport’s Peyhton Beardsley continues to shine for the Trojans, leading her team to a strong second-place finish while capturing first overall individually with a stellar time of 19:26.54. Taking the number one spot at the GMAA county meet.

Rex Pumford, Whitehall Boys Cross Country

Whitehall’s Rex Pumford turned in an outstanding performance at the GMAA county meet, claiming second place overall with a time of 16:16.67. The sophomore helped power a dominant showing for the Vikings, who placed four runners in the top 10 and five in the top 14.

Keshawn Drummer, Muskegon Football

Muskegon’s Keshawn Drummer set the tone early for the Big Reds, breaking loose for a 45-yard touchdown in the first quarter to spark a quick 14-0 lead. The explosive playmaker finished with 152 yards on the ground and two more long scoring runs of 40 and 54 yards.
