‘Fe’ and ‘The Hulk’ featured on Episode 3 of West Michigan Ironmen’s ‘The Forge’ Podcast

MUSKEGON — When the West Michigan Ironmen return to the field for this Sunday’s 2:05 p.m. arena football game against the Kentuckiana Kurse at Mercy Health Arena, it will mark three weeks since they’ve played.

Saying they’re eager to put on pads again would be an understatement. Team operations/equipment manager Scott Niswonger, aka “Fe,” is ready to run out on the field and entertain fans. Defensive lineman Clay “The Hulk” Oliver is primed to smash the opposition.

Niswonger and Oliver were featured guests this week as they joined head coach/general manage Nate Smith and owner Mario Flores at Legends Bar & Grille for Episode 3 of “The Forge,” a podcast related to all things Ironmen and then some. Watch the video at the top of this story.

The Ironmen (2-1) last played April 23 in Charlotte, N.C., where they dropped a 72-55 decision to the Charlotte Thunder after beating them in the season opener.
