Free livestream: Montague, North Muskegon baseball tangle with WMC title on line

It took a marathon night of baseball between Montague and North Muskegon last spring to decide the West Michigan Conference title, which the Wildcats and Norsemen shared.

Whatever it takes this time around, CatchMark SportsNet will be there to capture everything. We’re livestreaming today’s (May 16) doubleheader at Montague, which should decide the conference championship.

The livestream is presented by David Dusenberry, who is the title sponsor. First pitch for Game 1 is set for 4 p.m. with Game 2 to follow.

Montague enters today’s doubleheader 14-9 overall, 10-0 in the WMC. North Muskegon is 15-4-1 and 10-0, respectively.

Regardless of what happens today, both squads have work to do in the conference. Both teams are scheduled to close out league play Tuesday with Montague visiting Shelby and North Muskegon hosting Whitehall.
