Fremont has won just twelve games in the last decade but showed immense improvement in the 2024 season.
The Packers put up 237 points which is the most they’ve had in a single season since 2008. The Packers put up 60+ points in back-to-back games against Orchard View and Montague.
Sophomore Brayden Crosley got the start at QB in week one. In the loss, Crosley completed 10 of his 14 passes for 158 yards. Fremont would lose its season opener for the second straight season losing to Hopkins 34-20.
Its first win would come in week four against Grant, a game in which the Packers dominated winning 41-6. The Packers shared the rock in this one with three guys rushing for two touchdowns.
Karter Frens led Fremont on the ground as well as Khai Noordyk.
Fremont would drop its following game to Oakridge 56-6 but would respond with a 62-28 victory over Orchard View. Frens and Noordyk would combine for 342 yards and seven total touchdowns.
In week seven, Fremont would travel to Montague to take on the Wildcats. In what felt like the game of the year in the West Michigan Conference, the final was 70-64 in Montague’s favor. Crosley threw for three touchdowns and 266 yards. Frens and Noordyk had 100+ yards on the ground as well.

- Week 7 – Montague defeated Fremont 70-64
- Week 8 – Whitehall defeated Fremont 47-6
- Week 9 – Newaygo defeated Fremont 21-14
