MUSKEGON — Nothing seems to be slowing down Oakridge’s boys basketball team these days.
Not when Eagles seniors Hunter DeLora, Ethan Jozsa and Garrett Wever are rolling like this.
The big three combined for 51 points in Oakridge’s 59-49 senior night victory Friday night over visiting North Muskegon in the CatchMark SportsNet Game of the Week. It’s the sixth straight win for the Eagles (11-8 overall, 7-6 West Michigan Conference).
Wever scored a game-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists, DeLora had 15 points, and Jozsa totaled 14 points and 10 rebounds to power the Eagles, who wrap up the regular season Tuesday at Hart.
A 19-10 third-quarter advantage was the big separator between the teams. Oakridge led 26-25 at halftime.
James Young paced North Muskegon (10-8, 7-6) with 12 points, while Sam Gallo scored 11 and Jason Bogue eight. The Norsemen close the regular season next week with a game at Mason County Central Tuesday and home contest against Wyoming Potter’s House Christian on Thursday.
