‘Ice Breaker:’ Shelby senior forward performs under pressure via tough questions

Bishop Lee is typically not afraid of a camera, but he’s put on the spot here.

SHELBY – Bishop Lee typically does not shy from the camera, but he was put to the test this week in the latest edition of the “Ice Breaker.”

The senior forward for Shelby’s basketball team sat down with CatchMark’s Tate Stine and Lee answered some tough, rapid-fire questions. Some of the questions were very personal to Lee, thanks to “insider information” that Stine was able to obtain.

Lee was asked about his love of basketball and hobbies outside of school — easy enough. Meanwhile, other questions were a little trickier.

Lee had to work hard in answering some of the questions, but he’s accustomed to rolling up his sleeves. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound bruiser exhibits a relentless nature on the basketball court.

Thursday night, Lee led Shelby to its first win of the season in a 64-38 triumph at Manistee. He finished with 23 points and 14 rebounds to power the Tigers (1-5, 0-3 West Michigan Conference Rivers Division).

Lee and the Tigers get a bit of a break from basketball over the holidays. Shelby returns to action on Friday, Jan. 6, when the Tigers visit Hesperia in a WMC Rivers contest.
