North Muskegon Softball Sweeps Spring Lake Behind Dominant Pitching in Monday Non-Conference Action

North Muskegon took full advantage of a picture-perfect Monday, sweeping Spring Lake in a non-conference doubleheader with 8-2 and 3-1 victories. Behind strong pitching performances and timely hitting, the Norsemen controlled both games from the circle and at the plate, highlighting a full slate of area softball action played under ideal early-season conditions.

In game one, North Muskegon built momentum early and never let up in an 8-2 win. The Norsemen tallied nine hits and capitalized on consistent offensive pressure to pull away.

Game two was a tighter contest, but North Muskegon’s pitching proved to be the difference in a 3-1 victory. Braedi Baker delivered a standout performance in the circle, striking out 12 batters while allowing just three hits and one run over six innings to secure the win.
