After the Hart girls basketball team wrapped up the conference championship last week at Montague, the league race shifts back to the boys basketball schedule where the mayhem continues to dictate league standings.
A red-hot Oakridge boys team (10-8 overall, 6-6 WMC) has strung together a streak of four straight conference victories including big ones against second-place Ravenna (10-6, 8-4) last Tuesday, and Whitehall (11-5, 9-3) last Friday.
Whitehall still leads the league overall, but sixth-place Oakridge has certainly shaken things up in the last week. The smoldering Eagles will encounter another test on this week when they host North Muskegon (10-7, 7-5) for another wild WMC matchup and the CatchMark SportsNet Game of the Week.
The game will take place on Friday, Feb. 25 and tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
