Watch Montague make big plays, celebrate and comment on district finals win at Reed City

REED CITY — Something about this time of year seems to bring out the best in Montague’s football program.

The Wildcats are back at it — they’re winning trophies and advancing through the playoffs.

Montague got off to a good start and made enough plays late to put away host Reed City, 35-22, in a Division 6 district final Friday night.

The Wildcats (8-3) advance to next week’s regional finals, where they’ll face the winner of Saturday’s district final between Millington (10-0) and Lansing Catholic (9-1). Montague will be on the road next week in any event.
