Ludington boys suffer first loss of the season.

Two boys basketball games and three girls contests involving West Michigan Conference teams took place Monday night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

CADILLAC 66, LUDINGTON 35: Visiting Cadillac jumped out to a 15-1 lead to start the game, led 27-11 at the half and outscored Ludington 23-9 in the third quarter in handing the Orioles their first loss of the season in this nonleague contest.

NORTH MUSKEGON 43, OAKRIDGE 40: In the second quarter, visiting North Muskegon got defensive stops and played well offensively en route to an 18-7 scoring advantage in the period that proved the difference in this WMC nondivisional matchup. It was the Norse’s sixth straight win and the Eagles’ sixth consecutive loss.
