West Michigan Conference basketball: Girls and boys roundup from Jan. 27, 2023

Ludington girls edge Oakridge to remain unbeaten in Lakes Division.

Six girls basketball games and two boys contests involving West Michigan Conference teams were played Friday night.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MONTAGUE 51, WHITEHALL 27: Visiting Montague trailed 5-0 after the first quarter but scored the next 12 points and erupted for 38 in the second half in this Game of the Week victory.

LUDINGTON 42, OAKRIDGE 40: In a game that was tight throughout, host Ludington squeaked out a WMC Lakes Division win over Oakridge to stay unbeaten in the division.
