Cold-shooting Whitehall falls to Zeeland East; North Muskegon cruises past OV.

Three West Michigan Conference boys basketball teams took the floor on Wednesday during holiday showcases.

Here is a brief roundup from action on Dec. 28, 2022:

NORTH MUSKEGON 59, ORCHARD VIEW 29: Troy McManus scored a game-high 20 points and Sam Gallo posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in leading North Muskegon to a win over Orchard View in a Muskegon Area Sports Hall of Fame Holiday Classic matchup.

ZEELAND EAST 72, WHITEHALL 55: Whitehall shot only 33 percent from the floor (20-of-60), including 2-of-15 from 3-point range, and made just 13 of 27 free-throw attempts in the Zeeland Holiday Showcase. Zeeland East shot 53 percent overall (29-of-54), including 9-of-17 from 3-point land.
