WHITEHALL 58, CADILLAC 56: Whitehall hit the road and came home with a big victory in a battle of unbeatens. The game was tight throughout, but Division 2 fifth-ranked Whitehall made plays down the stretch and fended off Cadillac, which is ranked honorable mention in Division 1.
Whitehall is 13-0 overall, while Cadillac is now 11-1.
NORTH MUSKEGON 61, WYOMING POTTER’S HOUSE 35: Visiting North Muskegon used its typical balance and stayed unbeaten on the season with a comfortable nonleague road win.
“We were able to get ahead early and held on throughout the night. I was happy with our defense tonight. We rotated well and did a nice job rebounding,” North Muskegon coach Chuck Rypstra said.

HESPERIA 69, WALKERVILLE 50: Visiting Hesperia outscored Walkerville 30-15 in the second quarter to pull away en route to this nonleague win. The victorious Panthers made nine 3-pointers.
Hesperia opened the season with a 52-39 home victory over Walkerville.

FREMONT 52, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 44: Host Fremont fell into a 10-0 hole to start the game and trailed by 14 at halftime before mounting a comeback with a 20-5 scoring run in the third quarter.
“I didn’t think we started the game with enough energy or any sense of urgency. They played harder than we did in the first half and shot the ball extremely well,” Fremont coach Adam Bowen said. “To our guys’ credit, we regrouped at halftime and came out with a lot more effort in the second half.”
Said MCC coach Chris VanderHaag: “The tale of two halves. First half, we came out and got them on their heels. Our pressure defense got them out of sync. Fremont made adjustments at half. We had some troubles their press, which is the story in the third.”
