In the past two years, Western Michigan Christian Schools have raised more than $3 million for enhancements.

Sparkling new outdoor athletic facilities are the result. On Saturday, those upgrades will be celebrated.

The school is holding “Warrior Fields Dedication” on Sept. 25 to celebrate the recently completed track and field venue along with new soccer and baseball fields.

WMC is inviting the public to attend the 12:30 p.m. ceremony, which will occur between the boys junior varsity soccer game and boys varsity soccer match. At the end of the varsity contest, people are invited to an open run/walk on the new track that coincides with the start of an alumni soccer game.

In a release, the school said it is excited to celebrate the upgrades with donors, alumni, school family and the community.

Western Michigan Christian High School is located at 455 E. Ellis Rd. in Norton Shores.

The school system features grades 7-12 and includes Fremont Christian School, Grand Haven Christian School, Muskegon Christian School and New Era Christian School.
