North Muskegon and Montague both encountered opponents that will be entering the West Michigan Conference this Fall for the 2022-23 school year.

NORTH MUSKEGON 59, MANISTEE 40: At Manistee, the visiting Norse fought through a competitive first half of play resulting in a 23-17 score at the break. An explosive 23-point third quarter enabled North Muskegon to push the lead out significantly. Manistee chipped away late in the game but was unable to overcome the deficit.

MONTAGUE 51, HOLTON 48: At Holton, the visiting Wildcats outscored the Red Devils 46-25 in the first three quarters of play. In the fourth, Montague struggled to maintain composure as the Red Devils scored 23 points to bring the game within three points. A missed shot at the buzzer sent Montague home with a narrow margin victory.
