Hart and Montague both took care of business in a big way Friday night in setting up next week’s West Michigan Conference girls basketball showdown.
The first-place Pirates will be looking to wrap up their first conference title since 1992 when they visit the second-place and two-time defending league champion Wildcats next Thursday.
On Jan. 11, Hart edged Montague, 37-36, in a thriller played at Hart.

HART 71, NORTH MUSKEGON 22: At Hart, the host Pirates scored 28 first-quarter points as they made five 3-pointers in the frame and seven of the nine players dressed got in the scoring column. It’s the 62nd win for Hart coach Travis Rosema, who is now the all-time winningest coach in program history.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 36, RAVENNA 16: At Mason County Central, the host Spartans held the Bulldogs scoreless in the first half en route to building a 22-point lead.
