WMC girls basketball: Hart rolls with team effort; Ravenna edges Muskegon Catholic Central

Whitehall and Oakridge fall in nonleague matchups.

HART 55, WHITE CLOUD 21: Hart traveled to White Cloud, where it was able to capitalize on early scoring opportunities to jump out to a 34-7 halftime lead. The Pirates continued to dominate throughout the game and every player on the team contributed to the offense.

RAVENNA 47, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 34: Ravenna visited Muskegon Catholic Central on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs opened the evening with a huge 23-9 first quarter. The Crusaders battled back late in the game, but were unable to overcome the deficit.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 58, WHITEHALL 35: Host Whitehall fell behind 21-5 to Western Michigan Christian after the first quarter and was unable to recover. WMC continued with a strong second half to bury Whitehall with a 23-point victory.

WYOMING POTTER’S HOUSE 37, OAKRIDGE 35: At Oakridge, a fairly even first half left the score 19-18 with a home-team advantage. The even play continued through the second half and both teams battled in the fourth. Potter’s House found the edge late in the game to escape with a narrow victory.
