This week’s Player of the Week race brought standout performances from across the map, with elite efforts in soccer, track, and golf rising above an already deep field of nominees. From explosive scoring on the pitch, to record-breaking speed on the track, to clutch precision on the course, three athletes separated themselves with performances that combined dominance, impact, and high-level execution in key moments.
Hestyn Stowe – Ludington Soccer Stowe put together one of the most dominant weeks of the season, scoring seven total goals across multiple matches, including a clutch game-winner against Caledonia. His ability to consistently find the back of the net while delivering in key moments makes his performance stand out, as he powered Ludington’s offense with both volume scoring and timely impact.
Bryce Falbe – Oakridge Track Falbe turned in a record-setting performance on the track, winning the 800 meters in a meet-record time of 1:58.78 and helping Oakridge’s 4×800 relay team break both meet and school records. His combination of individual excellence and contribution to a historic relay effort highlights a standout week against strong competition.
Zach Weare – Western Michigan Christian Golf Weare delivered a clutch performance on the course, shooting a season-best 35 at Muskegon Country Club to lead Western Michigan Christian to a narrow 162–163 victory over Spring Lake. On a challenging course and in a tightly contested match, Weare’s round proved decisive, showcasing both his consistency and ability to perform under pressure.
