Peyton Ruel, Senior, Oakridge Boys Basketball
In last week’s season opener, Ruel put up a game-high 19 points and propelled the Eagles past Manistee to start the season 1-0. Ruel would then carry his hot hand into last Friday night when Oakridge travelled to Ravenna. Ruel posted a triple-double scoring 21 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Adam Dugener, Junior, North Muskegon Boys Basketball
Dugener popped off in the recent week totally 62 points across three games. In the season opener against Mason County Central, Dugener finished with 24 points. Heading into the Will Lynch Season Tip Off, Dugener was the Norse’s primary scorer, and he lived up to that scoring 14 points against Menominee and 24 points against Lapeer. Both games North Muskegon came away with wins.
Bultema, a stable point in the Wildcats system came onto the scenes last week tallying a total 31 points through two games. In the season opener, Bultema scored 16 points in the win then, turned around and dropped 15 points against Fruitport.
