Olivia Peterson, Junior, North Muskegon Volleyball
Olivia Peterson was a powerhouse for North Muskegon, leading the team to a perfect 3-0 sweep in the West Michigan Conference-Rivers tournament on Saturday. Her exceptional performance helped the Norse clinch a tie for first place in the conference with Shelby. She recorded 15 kills, 10 aces, 47 assists, 15 digs, and four blocks, making her an integral force behind North Muskegon’s victories.
Matthias Morse, Senior, Western Michigan Christian Cross Country
Western Michigan Christian senior Matthias Morse claimed first place at Saturday’s Division 3 regional cross country meet, finishing the course in an impressive 16:02.79. Morse’s stellar performance helped lead the Warriors to a second-place team finish and secured them a spot in the state finals at Michigan International Speedway next weekend.
Logan Werschem, Senior, Fruitport Soccer
The senior goalkeeper was unstoppable, leading his team to victory over Marquette last week and making a clutch save in a shootout against Forest Hills Eastern. Werschem capped off his high school career with an impressive 27 shutouts over two seasons as the starting keeper.

Funny how one person is able to artificially inflate the votes. Our team and parents started voting rapidly and Ms. Petersons started increasing one vote every 6 seconds….. Sad
There is a really good explanation of why those votes are continually going up. I have attached a video about this by Tom Scott. He explains it in much detail.
In short, the database of votes are syncing continually and those take time to sync. Thus the reason you see the progressing vote count.
