Bryce Colbert, Junior, North Muskegon Football
The Junior quarterback had an impressive performance in their game against Shelby. Completing 10 of 16 passes, he achieved a solid 62.5% completion rate. He totaled 152 yards as well as 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He aided the Norseman to a 43-7 win over the Tigers.
Ryver Jarka, Senior, Montague Football
The senior, who normally plays RB/WR, was moved over to QB for the Wildcats last week. Montague’s normal QB, Eli Peterson was rested due to some illness earlier in the week. Even so, Jarka, stepped up for the Cats’ rushing for 148 yards on 26 total carries, averaging 5.7 yards per carry. On defense, he racked up 8 tackles and a fumble recovery. He was crucial in Montague’s win over conference rival, Oakridge.
Peyton Merz, Senior, Mason County Central Football
In Merz’s rivalry game versus Ludington, he played phenomenally, rushing for an impressive 372 yards and scoring 5 touchdowns on 33 carries. His outstanding performance was instrumental in leading the Spartans to a 50-43 victory over the Orioles.
Conner Raeth began his journey at CatchMark as an intern in October 2020, while studying Internet, Network, and Security Technologies at the Muskegon Career Tech Center. His dedication and expertise led him to a full-time role as a Help Desk Technician in mid-2022, post-graduation. Today, he excels as the Digital Content Lead for CatchMark’s SportsNet platform, leveraging his technical knowledge to drive its success.
