Following a stellar debut at the West Michigan Conference, where she fired an impressive 87, senior standout McDowell claimed the top spot, outshining the entire WMC field. With her sights set high, she’s poised to maintain her dominance throughout the conference season.
The talented golfer from Whitehall showcased her skills with a remarkable second-place finish in the opening West Michigan Conference meet, narrowly missing the top spot by just one stroke. Her impressive performance proved instrumental in her team’s strong start to the season, securing a commanding lead on the leaderboard. As the season progresses, it’s clear that her consistent play will be vital in their pursuit of conference victory.

Athlete 3: Jonah Henderson, Sophomore, Montague Boys Soccer
The sophomore defensive mid proved an absolute force on the field this weekend at the Oakridge tournament. His tenacious defense and unwavering presence were instrumental in safeguarding the goal line, anchoring his team’s stellar performance. They conceded a mere five goals across three intense games, a testament to Jonah’s pivotal role in their defensive core.
Conner Raeth began his journey at CatchMark as an intern in October 2020, while studying Internet, Network, and Security Technologies at the Muskegon Career Tech Center. His dedication and expertise led him to a full-time role as a Help Desk Technician in mid-2022, post-graduation. Today, he excels as the Digital Content Lead for CatchMark’s SportsNet platform, leveraging his technical knowledge to drive its success.
