Hart falls short in nonleague matchup against Calvary Christian

Pirates drop nonleague game, have two more redemption opportunities this week

The Hart boys basketball team traveled to Calvary Christian Monday evening to take on the Eagles in a nonleague matchup.

The visiting Pirates fell just shy, losing to the Eagles 72-66.

Hart Coach Adam Jerry was proud of his teams effort and intensity in the back and forth battle between the two teams. Jerry noted the season-high performance from Wyatt Dean and stellar defense from Kohen Porter.

Hart leaders:

Wyatt Dean 22 points, 5 assists

Caleb Bitely 16 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals

Kohen Porter 10 points, 4 assists

Records:

Hart 5-11 overall

Calvary Christian 12-5 overall
