Hart’s football team is on a roll.
For the first time since 2004, the Pirates are off to a 3-1 start to their season. Coming off a 36-14 victory at Muskegon Heights Academy last Friday, they’ve won three straight and have scored 30 or more points three weeks in a row for the first time in school history.
Dating back to last season, Hart has won five of its last six games.
A big challenge awaits the Pirates this week. Hart visits North Muskegon, also 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the West Michigan Conference Rivers Division, in the North Grove Brewers WMC Game of the Week.
As Game of the Week, CatchMark SportsNet will produce a free livestream of the Pirates-Norsemen clash as part of our comprehensive coverage. That can be found on the CatchMark SportsNet YouTube channel.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. with the pregame show at 6:30.
Throughout the season, we’ve been introducing key members of each conference team that attended media day last month. Today, we introduce the Hart Pirates in our series of West Michigan Conference Football Profiles. Watch the video at the top of this story to get a glimpse into the Pirates’ personalities.
Look for the North Muskegon Football Profile on Wednesday.
