Al Karaba joins the crew to discuss his career coaching the Norsemen and other related topics.

Al Karaba graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central and he still loves his Crusaders, but his heart bleeds North Muskegon blue and gold all the way.

Karaba is in his 33rd year as an educator and coach at North Muskegon Public Schools. He’s in his 33rd and final season as the Norsemen track and field coach.

On Monday, he made time in his busy schedule to join us on the CatchMark SportsNet Podcast. Watch Episode 29 of the CSN Podcast by clicking on the video above.

Karaba, who teaches math and science at North Muskegon, has two meets remaining as North Muskegon’s track coach: West Michigan Invitational Track Meet Wednedsay at Reeths-Puffer and Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 state finals June 4 at Kent City.

Karaba, who also has served as North Muskegon’s football coach, is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to sports, coaching and education. Tune in to hear his stories, including those involving Drew Naymick.
