Mia Pung and Jordyn Anderson join coach Liz Holden on pod in midst of another big season for the Orioles.

WHITEHALL — Ludington’s volleyball team is having another big season.

Entering a key West Michigan Conference Lakes Division match tonight (Sept. 26, 2023) at Montague, the Orioles are 29-6-2 overall and 3-0 in WMC Lakes play.

Somehow, Ludington is nowhere to be found in the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association Division 2 rankings, but representatives of the Orioles showed up at the CatchMark office in Whitehall Monday night.

Head coach Liz Holden, 5-foot-6 senior defensive specialist Mia Pung, and 6-foot-3 junior setter Jordyn Anderson joined host Scott DeCamp for Season 5 Episode 3 of the CatchMark SportsNet Podcast.

The group discussed various topics, including Holden’s path to becoming Ludington’s coach.

Coach Holden is a great person and a real asset to Ludington’s volleyball program. I watched her grow up and play for Montague! Congrats Liz on being a difference maker in developing these players lives!
