Kal Koehler, Senior, Whitehall Track

Koehler notched a first-place finish in the long jump event at regionals this past weekend and has been flying for the Vikings all season. The senior jumped his second-best of the season on Saturday with a 20′ 8.75″ jump. At the GR Elite Challenge, Koehler had a jump of 20′ 11″ that marked his season-high and just short of a personal record.

Kaden Kott, Senior, Manistee Track

On Saturday, Kott participated in four events at the Division 3 regional track meet. The senior won first-place honors in three of them and was runner-up in the other. Kott took first in the 100m, 200m, and 4x200m relay. Kott scored a personal best in the 200m on Saturday with a run of 22.58, and ran a 11.30 in the 100m, just shy of a PR.

Delaney Young, Sophomore, North Muskegon Soccer

Young has been a stable point on a North Muskegon team that is currently undefeated in conference play this season. On Friday, Young scored two goals and tallied one assist against a superb Saginaw Valley Lutheran team. Earlier in the season, Young picked up an impressive hat trick against Oakridge as well as scoring two goals over conference foe Whitehall.
